Pros

Superior products, excellent sales training;

Cons

Products not competitively priced; lack of product and "nuts and bolts" training; much more driving than led to believe at interview, very few qualified leads, limited range of services, high project cancellation rate due to poor production, sloppy workmanship and lack of follow-up on customer-service-related issues; too many 16+-hour days with too many 4-hour days due to poor scheduling system.

Pros

Friendly co-workers, great sales happening all the time.

Cons

The store I worked in is a local landmark, but it was heartbreaking to see how it is slowly fading into disrepair. You can see evidence all around of the once-great department store that Sears used to be, but now it's just empty shelves, messy racks, and understaffed departments. I understand how difficult it is to run a store with struggling profits, but everyone there seems to have just given up. I was working for minimum wage only 20 hours per week while being expected to run payroll and human resources for the whole store. I really liked my co-workers and the work itself was interesting, but it just became depressing to go in everyday.
