Pros

Competitive pay, Association with a well know American institution, great IT production solutions. Associate discount and special savings days for employees.

Cons

A very biased work environment, unfair treatment between employees based on popularity or personal relationships vs. performance, refusal to change or update business models or methods to grow the company. Personal vendettas are commonly held against employees by managers and create very hostile working environment.

Pros

Good place for gaining experience and growth. The company requires that you be "mobile" for any mgt hires in the past decade or so. This means a lot of company paid moves, sometimes annually across the province or country.

Cons

Salary and benefits are not particularly competitive, I would describe them as "adequate". Resources for achieving success are limited. Company is overly cost conscious (frankly cheap) and at times, this is a barrier to its success and ability to grow.

Pros

Sears Holdings and its subsidies have been around since the dawn of retail. We could argue that we are the first. We have valuable knowledge to pass down to the future generations of its employees and benefactors.

Cons
