Pros

There are plenty of paths one can take to advance their career at Sears. Poor performers are usually weeded out pretty quickly.

Cons

Wage freeze is currently in effect, so make sure you negotiate a good salary or wage BEFORE you start working there, since you're unlikely to get a merit raise any time soon.

Pros

Lot of opportunities to do new things and take risks. Lot of things happening, especially in marketing. Sears is actively growing the marketing department and there is strong support for our work.

Cons

Fast paced is an understatement. It's extremely hard to have a work life balance when you're working 12 hour days every day. Way too many meetings - including meetings to set meeting agendas. Your blackberry is always going off day and night.
