Large company, able to grow

very unclear on all policies, expectation to learn to do your job on your own, poor realistic job training, a lot of favortism.

Pros

The scheduling is very flexible and the employee discounts are pretty good if you buy things on clearance. Also, Sears is good about giving associates the sales tools needed to be successful.

Cons

The base hourly is low, only 6hr if you work in home improvement. The commission rates are also very low, most products you sell only have a 1 percent commission rate.

Uninvolved management Performance reviews are only based on number of credit applications completed Hours of work only based on number of credit applications completed No emphasis on customer service Management refuses to change or implement new strategies to promote the store (other than credit applications)
