Pros

The people working at sears are some of the best Ive ever worked with. They understand eachother, and work and mesh well. I enjoy going to work for them and the customer.

Cons

Sears is overly bureaucratic all the way down to us, the sales associates. They have illogical stipulations and are overly greedy, so when we dont perform we get our hours cut and termination threats. Understandable since we are in sales and all, but Sears is just overboard. They step on the associates feet and do not recoginize us for what we do for the store. I would recomend this over McDonalds, however after about a year or two you will be fed up and looking for something else.

Pros

Good salary potential, competent management, camera system funding is good, able to perform job well. It is a god stepping stone for a better position.

Cons

multi-unit LPM program is a joke. very dissatisfied with potential growth in company because there are so many others in the same position. You really, truly need to stand out. TOO MUCH taskwork to really focus on LP.

Pros

Worked with great people. Loved the discount. You get a discount for sears and kmart. Benefits are good. Usually pretty good about giving you time off when you need it.

Cons

Communication isn't to great. Management expects a lot from you but you never get a raise. They go on and on about how good the store is doing and how we hit our goals but then tell us they are going to cut our hours. You get quizzed every month on there quality policy and other things related to your job. It is overly micro managed.
