Ever-changing work environment. No 2 days ever the same. The pay was decent.

Cons

Training is very poor. They give you a computer and say "have at it". It was a gossip factory and if you didn't get in on the gossip, you were 8 balled. It was like working in an all-girl middle school. It wasn't just the employees, it was the management as well. I was a new hire, and I didn't know any of the people they were talking about, so I kept my mouth shut. It was a very uncomfortable place to be. I was used to get clients back that the previous salesman ran off. After I got most of them back and gained some newer clients in the face of the COVID, I was laid off due to a nationwide sales drop. Also, It was nearly impossible to take a day off. even when you scheduled it months in advance. If you did take a day off, you were made to feel guilty about it. I would net recommend this job to anyone looking for a career. If you just need a check, this would be the place for you.

Sorry to hear you had a less than acceptable experience while working with us. I want to point out that we have many avenues available to our employees where they can report and address both illegal and/or unethical behavior. We have a HR Business Partner aligned with every region along with a Regional Director of Ethics and Compliance. All are available at any time to receive these types of complaints as is our Network HelpLine which is available 24/7 for reporting such matters. All complaints received are thoroughly investigated by the appropriate party and based on our findings, appropriate corrective action is always taken.

Same as other reviews. The pay is solid. The company is solid financially. The company is in a good position in the industry with growth. The employee stock purchase plan at a 15% discount is the only good benefit.

Cons

Benefits. Health care is horrible. Vacation policy is a joke. 10 years to get a 3rd week vacation.... Let that sink in....and compare that to any other company..... Culture is overbearing pushing to the point of breaking . Add on a micro managing management environment and you have a recipe for employee base of fear, stress, frustration. The executives on the 5th floor are all about themselves. They rarely ever visit a dealership. That goes for people at corporate. Many have never experienced anything in the field or it's been so long that they forgot and so much has changed. The amount of calls, reports and things that tie people to their computers is insane. Training. What training. What is that?

I would personally welcome your feedback regarding our health benefits to learn more specifically why you are unhappy with them. We are always looking for ways to enhance our benefit offerings yet controlling rising health care costs and employee premiums. In regards to your concerns about the current environment, we are aware of some of these frustrations and I will be sure to share this information with our senior leadership. Lastly, I would also like to hear from you regarding what specific training we are not providing. I can then share with you the training we do have available and what is on our roadmap.
