Pros

Rolls-Royce is a very stable company with worldwide brand recognition, and competes in a market with very few other players.

Cons

The salaries could be more competitive and the health insurance is less than stellar, but overall it's still a good benefits package (especially considering the large number of paid holidays).

Pros

Breadth of experience, interesting and usually engaging work, very smart and driven people, exciting global opportunities, respect for work/life balance when not in management.

Cons

A disheartening combination of old school union labor, the forced use of ineffective corporate processes, a crumbling facility that makes a circus tent look like the burj khalifa, and disconnected UK executive leadership. Wonderful company, but bad execution (in mount vernon).
