Pros

Not a whole lot. You get to meet clients out of the office

Cons

They don't pay commission Training is very poor- they just let you loose and see what happens. They hire loads of recruiters and see who survives. They promised me loads of commission and it never happened even though I had a long period if billing. Avoid them!

Pros

a very relaxing working environment

Cons

I was forcing to recruit candidate into a very unstable company. I have helped a MNC to recruit an outsource resource and a few candidates left the company within 1 -2 months because they found something not right in the company. once candidate left, I have to recruit again though I knew this was not good to get candidate in and some more I have hidden the fact from the candidates even they have been asked. The last candidate was terminated after 2 months as customer stop the contract with the company. The candidate became jobless. I felt sorry and changed to IT department and didn't want to become recruiter.

Pros

A well established company with international opportunities

Cons

In recent years, the Singapore office has seen massive turnover at all levels and current management is poor and unpopular. The nature of the company means its a place for people to start their recruitment careers, and then move on. This is principally because its low paid both in terms of salary package and commission. The comment below that its an excellent place to work is clearly by a Manager/Director who is in denial. Morale is the worst I've ever experienced, as is turnover. There are better places you can start your recruiting career.
