Pros

People care. Andy Barkett is the heart and soul of this company. He cares about everyone in his department and it is a privilege and an honor to work for him.

Cons

Not much if you can work for Andy. The tech side of the company is pretty great.

Pros

I sold my real estate brokerage a little more than a year ago before I know who REX was. I did know that there was going to be a company that will disrupt the industry and it's so much fun being a part of a company that is leading the way. The culture is about caring - for both our clients the employees and those in need - and it comes across. I love the fast-paced environment and the fact that REX is willing to try new things to make the customer experience better.

Cons

I don't consider this a con but I could see how some could. It's real estate so it's not your typical 9-5 job. No job in real estate is 9-5. If you police yourself and set boundaries you will be fine. REX also realizes that you can work off-hours and gives you the freedom to take time off as needed.

Pros

This company is start-up so very collaborative, innovative, fast-paced, and there is no ceiling on your growth. Positions change monthly and the management makes sure that your growth path is focused on your strengths and interests. You wear many hats at the company and if you show interests in getting more responsibility, you will get it. The culture has 'just get it done' mentality and the ability to move fast and adjust/enhance processes. No red tape, all ideas are welcome and you can see your suggestions take form. The mission statement, people, and overall business model makes it worth coming to work every day. Although stressful, it pushes boundaries and makes you think out of the box.

Cons

As a start-up, staffing is a issue to make sure the team has all "A" players. Hiring does take awhile and majority of staff is overworked and must maintain a juggling act. You have to work 7 days a week so no items slip through the cracks, even if something doesn't fall under your job title. As a team, you have to rely heavily on your teammates so if there is a weak link, it has drastic consequences.
