Myself, my boss, his boss have no ability to make decisions independently anymore. Puppeteers at the top are driving new decisions that make no sense to the well informed, experienced people who work daily with customers. Financial analysts have provided egotistical VPs with more then enough motivation to drive the bus from the backseat and they’re running over customers and experienced sales people every day now.

This company started out okay, but has been declining every year. Hard workers do not get rewarded with much except more work. We are spread thin, overworked, under-compensated, and fed up. Upward mobility ground to a halt, we have managers who are pretty much useless but take the credit for things they don't do. People who don't work are protected and those who do and say something about the ones that don't work are called out and reprimanded.
