Pros

SVP & CHRO supports employees watching the Imperial Court of NY throughout June during Pride Month instead of getting work done.

Cons

Employees come last even though SMT likes to say otherwise and create the illusion that employees are valued.

Pros

Pay Checks don't bounce you get to sit while you work

Cons

Oh girl - They brag about billion-dollar profits while employees are paid pennies. Cost of living? nope. We are expected to do whatever for the patient and not recognized for it. Wanna be told to stay until all the patients are done then get spoke to about how much overtime you have? Work here. You don't want to work overtime, and want to go home on time after you just worked all night?? Too bad. Not acceptable. You not a team player and get written up for it. My manager works every night with us and still has to work all day. 18 hours every day. That's what they think about you. - There is only 1 or 2 managers who care about you. The rest are just talking to you to make sure you still alive and producing. - No support from corporate. HR - never met them. they are all remote, and so disconnected they take forever to do anything. the IT department? One person who is not located anywhere close to where you at. computer broke? call the help desk and they don't have access to the system you need help with, or they don't know how to use it because they are contractors. It is a joke. Favoritism is everywhere. Rules for me and not for Thee.

Pros

Big name, big company at the corporate level Health Insurance Medium salary

Cons

Nobody cares anything about the employees. Last winter, there was a state emergency about the big snowstorm and even on that day, we had to go to work. And what happened? So many people cannot leave the building, many people called out and used their paid-time off. And since the weather was that bad, there was no work to do as nobody could go outside. Terrible management in the laboratories. There were not enough chairs in the lab, so people were fighting about the chairs. If I left my chair for a few minutes, I couldn't find it back. They were stealing the cartridges from the printers, chairs, pens, lab equipments, and everything.. There is absolutely no opportunities to grow. If you qualify for an upper position, you need to wait for years. Hardworking and well-educated people leaves the company after a few months. Too many people quit in my department in a very short peroid of time. Some people were using more than 2 long breaks in 8 hours and nobody was saying anything. The rules were only applied to real working people. The only strict rule was cell phone usage which was sometimes unnecessary because most of the times we were not doing anything but hanging around. Equipments and computer programs are very very old. They were just wasting their time and money to upgrade the oldest systems. Supervisors love some lazy people and they were able to use longer lunch breaks, use cell phones, make overtime (more than 10 hours in a week for no reason). But if any other people stay for more than an hour, they need to file a document to give a reason. It was a very terrible experience for me.
