Pros

Good pay Nice people Teamwork makes the dream work Awesome benefits like health insurance

Cons

Took their hiring process 3 months to finish hiring me and get me into their onboarding. They should have had me there a month before a new training class started, to gain background knowledge on their software and specimens. Terrible onboarding program , especially if you are going to train others. Specimens processing system has many exceptions to memorize & lack of innovation to solve their own problems. Outdated training materials by 10 years Compliance is out of date Training materials missing many examples and images of specimens received 70% of business is done on Night Shift, but your managers won’t be there to answer questions Asking questions about metrics and performance will see you marked as a “troublemaker.” New positions barely recognized Lack of retention for employees Managers want robots that do not question about metrics, performance, pay, bonuses, AIP. Basically don’t ask questions. This flies in the face of their “corporate values” of “seeking to understand.” You’ll process for hours, only to be told that what you processed isn’t counted toward your numbers. Managers are lax on updating SOP info which will mean you get different SOP info due to word of mouth Basically, if you manage people, you aren’t expected to work nights much, which leaves a power vacuum during heavy processing times. Supervisors that are there are just about useless.

Pros

I did not experience any "pros" while working for this company.

Cons

In the interview, I was told that this position was a good fit for those who have stability in employment else where, which was perfect for me. You complete online training at $13/hr (about 16+ hours worth of training total). Then you pick up events to work through an online system. I attempted to pick up 7 events once I was done with the training. All of the events were denied for pick up. I reached out to the area manager and she said when you are new to quest diagnostics as a per diem health screening RN it is expected to be denied for most events picked up. I got fed up with trying to get an event so I resigned. In my opinion, the whole process was a complete waste of time. I wanted to make other RNs aware who might be considering this position. Don't waste your time making near minimum wage for nothing.

Pros

Healthy Quest program pay is not bad

Cons

It looks like pretty much all of the reviews are saying the same thing that I experienced. The best manager there, who had the degree and experience was let go and quickly snatched up by another lab. Many of the managers that remain are hunting buddies or got their position based on who they know. I am not aware of any females in management with Employer Solutions. It is all men who are trying to get their ego boosted. They in turn promote those who drink with them or are willing to go on "business trips" with them. Hard work and dedication is not valued but only young girls they can take with them to meetings to make them look good and who are willing to take trips out of state with them. They recently let go of many people throughout ES that had time, knowledge and experience. One of the younger girls made it clear that she was happily married and not interested in their games. She was also let go. They are doing this to the detriment of the company and are going down hill fast. If you want to be appreciated for hard work and years of experience, Employer Solutions is not the route to go.
