Philz Coffee reviews

The website lies. There is no "Philz University" (or at least I never was trained there). They don't offer benefits like the website states. I've never worked in an environment with such bad communication. I worked there because I LOVED Philz coffee and people in the stores thought I was a good fit. This was literally the WORST experience I've ever had. I will never buy another drink at Philz again. I've never been so disappointed with a company in my entire life. The person who I spoke to ended up blaming me because I was disappointed. I was told "You had high expectations and that's not our fault." The people training me didn't even know they were supposed to train me, one of the people training me had just been hired right before me and didn't know anything either. I was also the only person of colour at my location. Diversity was a major issue.

Drama - some people need to just grow up, however It's easy to avoid and sometimes amusing to watch. No electronic tips!!!! Please let people start tipping via the square. Customers and baristas alike want this! This would solve a lot of problems!
