Pros

- Free Coffee, 1 Free Food Item - Ability to pick up shifts at other locations if you want to - Design your name sign (small but a nice touch to make you feel like a real human with emotions and experiences outside of work)

Cons

- Refusal to communicate clearly to an entire team, will communicate bits of truth and falsehoods to various teams/team members so it's hard to know what's actually going on - Cutting hours and focusing on writing people up instead of investing in the team you have - False promises about raises and opportunities - Expected to do the work and told in person that in order to get promoted you need to prove you can do the role by doing the role for a few months (at least) for no pay bump, then they MIGHT put you in training which takes months and if you don't want to quit by the end maybe you'll fully get promoted and the most insulting minuscule raise - Very low pay for the amount of work you're expected to do - Before the newest Private Equity firm acquired it the hours were sometimes tight but overall you could feel consistent and mildly supported- now they are stripping every shift as much as possible. Everyone is burning out or burning out. It's hard to keep new hires because the smoke is so thick just walking into the space. - The company values "keeping it real" and collaborative "feedback" but what they often actually present unhelpful, usually aggressive commentary that is threatening without being clear about the result of said threat. If you ask for clarity, they usually back out of it and come up with a fun and new reason for why they said something isn't supported by evidence. - Conducts 1v1 in front of your team and customers in the lobby, not too bad if the location is slammed but if they run it during a slow period (they usually do) everyone will hear your business. Refer to above about how those might go.
