There are really no good things that come from working at Pep Boys. I worked there for 3 years and in that time I and other managers were constantly threatened by the Area Director who intended to take hostile action against or in retribution for unreasonable sales goals. I was forced to punch off the clock and still perform my duties as a manager, in other words I was forced to performed work for Pep Boys when I was not on the clock. Which is illegal. My time card was always tampered with. I informed human resources,but the did nothing about it.

Pay was good. Some of the staff friendly. Alot of premadonas.

Cons

Stressful job, very short staffed. You must work every department while on your shift. Service, parts, retail, speed shop, etc..,. Alot of people are there for the paycheck and just walk around.
