It's great to work on the lot and work in the film industry. People think you have a cool job that is interesting and fun, because everyone loves movies.

Cons

A lot of work, short staffed. Shrinking sales. Management needs training. Lack of direction. Kept in the dark about the direction of the company.

Pros

It can be a good place to meet people at other vendors/studios. The lot is a very fun place to walk around.

Cons

Paramount pays poorly, does not promote from within and is very poorly managed. Hiring and promotion are very nepotistic -- merit has little to do with who succeeds. Different departments are practically at war with one another most of the time, and most people are looking to cover their own rear end rather than get the job done.
