Pros

- The majority of my colleagues were a pleasure to work with. - Great sites. - That's it?

Cons

- The unpaid training!!! - It seems that if you have a pulse, they will hire you. - In desperate need of better management. - Communication between upper and lower levels is inadequate. - Benefits? - Top industry wages? Not really!!! In-house security is where it's at :) - Pay your employees on time. - Show more appreciation and be more supportive. - A turnover rate that will make your head spin. - A company culture that encourages CYA - covering your ass. - Monitoring of employees with site cameras! - Supervisors are asked to enforce rules they break themselves on a daily basis. And so on and so forth.

Hi, as a Best Managed Company 2012, Paladin has one of the most stringent selection processes in the security industry, which results in a higher calibre individual and therefore a better service, right from the start. Most security companies charge their employees for the training that they provide them with, and make them pay for their own security licenses. Additionally, they also make them pay for uniform deposits. Paladin Security is different. We pay all the upfront and ongoing costs for your security license, your uniform and your training. Good luck with in-house security and be sure to reference our Paladin Profiles and Women In Security series on the Paladin Blog to see how we all contribute to the industry: https://paladinsecurity.com/blog

Thank you for your review. If you go to the 'What our people say' section of our website paladinsecurity.com, or check out the videos on our YouTube channel PaladinSecurityTV, you will see that most of our managers - including our CEO - actually joined our company as Security Officers. We pride ourselves on listening closely to our people. Not only do we hold regularly scheduled site meetings, Site Supervisor meetings and management meetings, but we also conduct extensive employee surveys at least once a year. The ‘Paladin Report Card’ solicits advice and suggestions from our staff on how we can improve the delivery of our services – both internal services, such as administering our benefits plan, and external services, such as providing security to a site. We are a company that believes in constant and never ending improvement and the motivation for change comes from both our clients and our people. This is the foundation upon which Paladin was built and one of the reasons why our company has grown so fast. If you would like to discuss any ideas with us, as Paladin’s Corporate Communications & Social Media Manager, I am available via email at rhealy@paladinsecurity.com.
