Pros

There are a lot of opportunities to learn new skills (but you have to be self motivated and do a lot of work yourself). The staff and culture are amazing. They have great values (they pride themselves on this). I would only recommend working here if you want experience to get roles with other companies. If you can spare a couple of years to grow and learn new skills for future roles it is worth doing here. Learning and growth is supported.

Cons

1. All roles are expected to do way more than the job description eg. entry level is expected to learn too much (too many processes) . Senior level employees are doing the job of leads, and leads are acting as managers, and so on (without the wage to match). Lots of staff in all teams across the business are overwhelmed by this. 2. Roles are constantly outsourced to other offices as a cost saver (wages in india are cheaper and having a manager look after 3 different offices globally to save paying 3x manager wages). Even if the roles would be better suited for a local office for the benefit of the business, staff and the clients, saving a few $ is more important to them than looking after the staff or the clients, management try to say it is not the case but the business make it obvious to everyone, even to entry level roles. 3. Too many in management are overworked, leading to severe burn out (15hour days). 4. Staff are not valued for the work they put in. Even if managers or leads try their best to make their staff feel valued, the managers and leads are overworked and not feeling valued themselves (the overtime or doing more than expected is not valued by upper management) 5. Not many opportunities for pay increase. Entry level employees still on same wage 5+ years later

Pros

Nothing that I can think of

Cons

1. No Work Life balance - The employees are expected to work late nights and on weekends. This is the only metric by which your contribution is judged in the team. 2. Extreme Pressure - The workload is very heavy and the fact that the team size is also small, adds on to the pressure. 3. HR team exists only for namesake - The HR team takes 0 interest in the well being of the employees. They will definitely send you mails on yoga, healthy diet etc. but they don't care about the on ground reality within the organization. In nutshell - they don't practice what they preach. 4. Get Peanuts in your pockets - If a person compares the amount of work he/she does here as compared to what he/ she gets in the name of compensation, then the person will definitely find himself/ herself in tears. And don't even think of getting any payment for the overtime on weekdays/ weekends. 5. High Employee Attrition - Due to the above reasons the employees don't stick here for a longer time. But the sad part is that the Senior Management is least bothered about the on-ground issues.

Pros

Best benefits package of any company I have ever worked or heard of. Advancement opportunities are there if you can hang in and overcome the cons. Encouraged learning and flexible work schedule IME. If you are a minority, veteran, female or any other subcategory there is a group for you. Also, excellent mental/physical health workshops are part of the day to day if the interests you or you have a need.

Cons

Entrenched contractors control all the work and are not keen on inducting, instructing, on-boarding or sharing the work with new directs. Low salary for comparable positions in the bay area. Not always clear direction and expectations. Inclusion is sometimes a PC lip service while a lot of employees are left feeling anything but.
