Pros

Most NICE products are unique and cutting edge. They sell to many Fortune 500 companies.

Cons

For a tech company they are not cutting edge when it comes to culture and work environment. They operate as a call center with theme parties to get people excited about the office, which is immature. NICE has zero flexibility with working times and working from home. They just don't care! For a tech company the internal systems are dated, especially the HR systems. If you want to a place you have to clock in and out, this is your place folks!

Pros

It's a job. The people are amazing! Love my leadership & team members. (inContact division)

Cons

After a wildly successful company, (inContact) was acquired by NICE the company (inContact division) is not a place I would recommend working. Most of the perks have been stripped away, in that ensuring inContact employees are happy and wish to stay long-term is not an investment NICE is willing to make. The healthcare benefits package has fallen dramatically. The pay is well below market value. Unable to hire new talent or replace lost headcount. Especially US-based employees. Perks & benefits offered to NICE employees are not extended to inContact employees, specifically US-based employees. inContact's revenue is carrying NICE, yet the decisions & policies made by NICE's CEO Barak Eilam are having a serious negative impact on the future, and success of inContact. The company that hire me, the one I once loved is gone. I don't have faith the CEO of NICE has the ability to replicate what Paul Jarman created.

Thanks for leaving us a review. Our employee surveys always point to strong trust in the vision and strategy of our leadership and most importantly our CEO. We also offer all employees a competitive compensation and benefits package. We have an annual calendar of processes in place, to review our employees’ performance and reward them accordingly. There is a broad merit process as well as bonuses, allowing for increases in pay. This has continued throughout the pandemic and even in today’s challenging market conditions, despite many other companies recently cutting salaries, laying off employees, decreasing bonuses or dropping them entirely. If you have any specific concerns, then we recommend that you reach out to your HR Business Partner to address them.

CEO is trying to ruin the company

Pros

The only positive thing about working here is some of the awesome people I've become friends with.

Cons

Since this company literally paved the way for thousands of businesses to remain operational during the quarantine, and successfully transition to remote work, changing the policy and forcing employees to either badge in to a physical office or resign their position is going to destroy the current employee base. Barak Eilam is attempting a layoff without calling it a layoff so he doesn't have to pay out severance or unemployment insurance costs. It makes absolutely no sense. They don't pay the employees what they're worth, you can't get a raise or promotion because its "not in the budget" but they can send sales guys on exotic trips, and give shirts and throw parties. They will hire international employees instead of US employees because they're cheaper, but if they're on a work visa in the US, they'll pay them well over what their team members make.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sure that over the 9+ years you have been at the company, that there have been considerable changes, and one of these would be the introduction of our hybrid model, NICE-FLEX. Our hybrid work model is based on only two days a week of work from the office to allow for in-person collaboration and connection, and 3 days of remote work. While other companies that were working remotely during the pandemic have returned to the office on a full-time or part-time basis (usually 3 days in the office), we are happy to provide our employees with real flexibility and independence through our NICE-FLEX model. Furthermore, we have an annual calendar of compensation processes including a broad merit process and bonuses, allowing for increases in pay. This has continued throughout the pandemic and even in today’s challenging market conditions, despite many other companies recently cutting salaries, laying off employees, decreasing bonuses or dropping them entirely. We encourage you to reach out to your direct manager or HR Business Partner to discuss your concerns.
