Pros

money. The harder you work and more prospecting and cold calls. The more successful you can be. There is also some cut throat between employees. They do not share any knowledge and there is a lot of resentment and jealousy when you are more successful thaan them.

Cons

Too much prospecting, You alays have to be prospecting. You also have to be cold calling. Something that does not always work.

Pros

The company is very stable and in many ways insulated from many of the vagaries that stockholder owned companies face. This is especially true during economic cycle down-turns. There is also their new chairman, Ted Mathas, whose promotion promises to bring a fresh approach to generating new ideas.

Cons

It is knowns as a slow and plodding company and probably has way too many layers of management.
