      Pros

      Great time off flexibility, especially if you live close to the office. Low stress environment, except if you like to be productive.

      Cons

      You won't find a high level of empoyee professionalism here. I think sombody said something about zombies in an earlier review. I've never seen anything like it before nor since (thank God). At times humiliating and demoralizing work conditions and inept leadership aplenty. I often see castoffs from other companies hired by NYL at higher levels then from where they were dismissed from.

      Flexible schedule with ability to make your own hours Generous commission Compensation is up to you and the work you put in

      Cons

      Need more money up front to make money. If you were brand new to the business (as I was), and you had very limited funds (as I did), unless you have significant personal and/or business contacts which could translate into immediate sales, you probably should wait to join the company. But I was definitely impressed with the work environment in the Towson, MD office; good people, good overall support and training.

      Pros

      New York Life fosters an environment to balance between what is important to me personally and professionally. I work with some of the most respected community leaders who have the upmost integrity in their personal and professional lives.

      Cons

      It's the hardest job I have ever had. However, I believe 100% in the products and that makes it easy to do my job. This is the hardest yet most rewarding job I have ever had.
