Pros
management is there to help. If you can do the grunt work and make it through the first few years, can be a very good job. Professional environment.
Cons
They will try to sell on being a financial advisor, but you are a life insurance salesmen. If thats what you want to be, its not a bad place. You have to be willing to do ANYTHING to sale life insurance, like going door to door and hasseling friends and family, in order to make it throught the first couple years. They sell you on being able to work your own schedule, but if you want to make it, you have to put in a lot hours and hardwork. Managers have to meet hiring quotas, so they will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you hired. Than when you start, its not the glamerous job they described.
