growth within the company, good study program, great rotation program, exam pass luncheons, good exam compensation, merit increases, awards ,good fringe benefits

Cons

the only downside of rotation program that there is no control which office you would rotate to (could be NY or Westchester )

Cons

Extremely difficult being new in the field. It is a field that you have to really grind it out 5-10 years. If you can stick it out and be successfull you can really make a great living.

Pros

The major reasons to work with New York Life would be some of the employee benefits including match with 401k, onsite gym and medical facility, and great location in New York City (6 train is close by).

Cons

Many of the "Lifers" who have been there for years are resistant to change and there is a severe seperation between management and employees. The senior management will overlook inappropriate behavior of other management or supervisors towards employees as long as the work gets done. The office politics and poor management training will make you run for the door. Employee morale is very low in certain areas.
