The company seemed to lose its appetite for innovation. Instead it is focusing on increasing productivity and profitability sacrificing cost of R&D. As an old Japanese company, it has traditions which are not really good; such as inneficiency. It is a large company with sprawling parts which have no really strong connection among them. "Sinergy" seemed to have lost its meaning. Overall, the inefficiency of the company caused it losing money even when other company seemed to gain profits.

The experience you may have there can be quite limited since is a very hierarchical and bureaucratic company where management only care about keeping their seats and not solving problems. The salaries are consistently lower than the industry average so many of the best co-workers I have had left very soon. A few unconditional ones still remain and lift the whole weight of a company with consistently poor performance and bad management.
