Pros

Very high pay for title.

Cons

Branch run in "Family Style" management system. Not standard professional environment. Improper language and conduct among senior administration conveys lack of respect and questionable boundaries. An uncomfortable environment for career secretaries.

Pros

Job security for those with claims experience, as the company tends to retain staff; the team is friendly and down-to-earth.

Cons

Management plays favorites, with one individual, Karen, causing significant disruption. Around six employees have left due to her actions, but no changes have been made as her boss, who’s also her close friend, allows it. There are limited growth opportunities, and management treats staff as though they’re children. The office environment is cold and unwelcoming, offering little sense of culture or personality—an eye-opening experience that highlights what to avoid in the future.

Pros

Great colleagues ges to work with. Benefits are decent. Some really great department managers if you get hired within those specific departments/divisions.

Cons

Little to no training in any department. Management gives some guidance when something new comes up and then expect you to know exactly what to do from there on and act *shocked* when the work isn't the up to their standards. Leadership is hit or miss, some having very poor communication skills. It's can be a stuffy environment where leadership put on a show and come off as helpful but turn around and show their true lack of respect or empathy of actually trying to help their employees. People don't stay very long with the company for a reason.
