- The leadership and management team all the way up to the CEO, are unable to drive a team and the business forward towards bigger things.
- The company were acquired in 2016/17 and in most cases when this happens a company either becomes really successful or falls to pieces and is unrecoverable. The company has definitely done the latter.
- The company were so focused on spending their new found money from the acquisition, they forgot about its people. Great, hard working team members who had loyalty to the company were kicked out in SEVERAL rounds of redundancies without any thought or care. More worried about the bottom line!
- Pay is incredibly low! As it is a revolving door company they consistently hire graduates on the cheap. Pay them peanuts and then drive them out.
- Because of the revolving door, you have no experience to turn to and learn from or even someone who can competently train you to a reasonable standard.
- Training and development? - None. They always mention a so called pot of cash for people to be developed but that has never materialised.
- The company is definitely trying to fake it to make it as a large global business, but failing miserably. They were acquired and were so focussed on buying out businesses they have forgot to walk before they can run as a large business.
- If you like meetings with no action or meetings for the sake of it or meetings for meetings, join this company.
- If you want the peace of mind that you have a HR team there for you, forget it. You have a better chance of seeing a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow that seeing them on a week day and when people were there they were incompetent and there to just collect a wage.
- Middle managers are awful, some of these middle managers have been there since the inception of the company and only promoted on time done rather than skills on the job.
- There middle managers have no idea of how to lead or manage people/team. During my time I saw no leadership training.
- Also be prepared to work way beyond the contracted hours. I found myself regularly (nearly in a daily basis) working to 8,9,10 o clock at night. (Don’t expect to be repaid for this in TOIL or overtime pay!)
I would warn graduates to join at your own risk. This is the same for professionals as well as time here WILL stall your career.
