Pros

The people you work with. And the possible discounts on hotels. Highly unlikely

Cons

Like a professionalism and qualified managers. Lack of integrity to completely new heights. Will point the finger at you and not take responsibility for their own mishaps. Pay is insulting compared to the work that they require you to do. Lack of equipment or medical equipment to help guests. Unwilling to take suggestions and move on them. Run like a queen in charge and everybody's moves like fearful people. Pretty strange. Also signs of racism and favoritism to complex on Hilton Head Island. Have the mindset of, (do as I say don't do what I do mentality.)

Pros

I've been trying to think of something, but there are sincerely no pros that I can think of.

Cons

"Our associates are our most valued asset." "We're better together." Yeah, and the sky is really red, not blue. You can't replace resort staff with offshore consultants, but you can certainly replace 90% of IT. Since my previous company was acquired by MVW, we endured year after year of restructuring and reorganizing threats. 60 people offloaded one time, 40 the next, then 20 more here and 20 more there. I understand the need for efficiency, but inexperienced and extremely poorly trained offshore consultants made it a nightmare to get anything done. Upper management is oblivious. I'm guessing they assumed that if you could replace 1 US based permanent employee with 4-5 offshore consultants for the same price, the BOD could high-five each other at every meeting and the CEO could get fatter bonuses.

Pros

Very few and far between. For the most part, coworkers don’t really get in each others’ ways and are easy to be in a team with. Even if errors are made, they can be corrected quickly in the majority of cases.

Cons

In an effort to save on funds, MVW forces its employees to be trained in multiple brands and product. Keeping in mind that even basic training takes about 3 months with a lot of information to absorb, most associates end up having to retain an overwhelming amount of information, which leads to being overly reliant on their information database. Additionally, easily avoidable mistakes are made often by these associates. HR claims to update associates’ pay based on current market parameters, which is completely false as even employees with tenure complain about their pay.
