Pros

Great benefits (free T pass, 401k matching, paid pension, easily accessible healthcare). Mostly upbeat, nice people.

Cons

Little room for growth. People are promoted for longevity, not skill. Their means of rewarding staff are to appoint them supervisors and assign them 1 employee. So many people here oversee 1 person and aren't prepared to lead, supervise, etc. HR-run classes are offered, but not required. It's an issue of people repeatedly being promoted to jobs they are not necessarily qualified for because they have been at the school for 5, 10, 15 years. The workplace suffers as a result.

Disorganized business, and traditional thought process. Need a new outlook.

Pros

Benefits are amazing; health, vision, and professional development. Can be flexible depending on the department.

Cons

Mismanagement departmental spread. Administrative structure is horrible, and there are not any checks and balances for supervisors.
