      Pros

      MIT is a wonderful place to work in many ways - good people,many opportunities to grow as an employee AND as a person.Very generous with vacation time and holidays. Good dental and medical options.401k matching (just a little,but it helps and is appreciated)

      Cons

      The real bugaboo at MIT is their pay scale. It's low, bordering on taking a step backward in one's salary history.

      Pros

      People are friendly and helpful and the benefits are great. MIT truly supports a balanced work-life and managers are flexible and accommodating.

      Cons

      I have found it very difficult to navigate my way through MIT. Once you get to know people, they are very nice, it's just getting to know them that is challenging. MIT is very decentralized and it's hard to make connections in other DLCs. Many departments are small and offer little to no opportunity for advancement or promotion.
