People here are very friendly and work together with respect. There are flexible guidelines for time and occasional working from home. Time off policies are very generous.

Cons

Compensation is a bit below the market, and there are the usual politics and confusion of an educational institution.

Pros

"Drinking from a fire hose" is often used to describe MIT education, but in my opinion that is true of MIT employment as well. Lots of room for personal growth if you are ready to invest your time. Amazing work life balance.

Cons

Employer offers plenty of parking options around the campus. Parking is still expensive, but that is true for any Cambridge location.
