      "Empowered, Supported, and Growing with Lumen"

      Pros

      Strong leadership and vision. Lumen has done a great job clearly articulating its transformation into a digital-forward company. The top-down communication is transparent and consistent. Supportive management. My direct managers have empowered me to grow both technically and professionally. They’re invested in our success, not just our output. Flexible remote work. I work fully remote and have never felt disconnected. The tools, communication channels, and support make it easy to collaborate across departments. Great benefits. Competitive salary, 401(k) match, generous PTO, healthcare options, and ongoing professional development resources (including tuition assistance). Opportunity to make impact. Even as an individual contributor, I feel like my work matters. We are encouraged to propose improvements, and I’ve had multiple ideas implemented by leadership.

      Cons

      Some legacy systems remain from pre-merger infrastructure, but there’s ongoing effort to modernize. Change can be slow, but it’s happening.

      Employer has gotten much worse

      They offer telecommunications services to the midwest

      Cons

      Their IT department has been completely taken over by people who don't respect our culture. They are rude, arrogant, and unscrupulous and have come in overwhelming numbers. As a result, locals are being discriminated against and excluded in their own native place.
