Pros

There is not a single good thing about this company.

Cons

Withour a doubt the most toxic and misery inducing place I have had the misfortune to work at in my 30 plus years in employment. The company has a multitude of "initiatives" and professes to support its employees, nothing could be further from the truth. The company piles on work with unrealistic timescales prioritising profit over the mental and physical health of employees. The hype of competition to win a few fancy sweet treats at month end aims to disguise the truly appalling way that members of staff are treated. Job adverts appear frequently as the attrition rate is so high. This is hardly surprising given the horrific working conditions of long hours, lack of training, noisy offices, terrible automated computer systems and managers with so much to do they are unable to give their teams any real assistance. Avoid this company if you value your mental health and sanity.

Thank you for your feedback and the concerns you've raised in your review, While recruitment activity can appear frequent as the business continues to grow, retention is something we actively monitor and prioritise and reporting on this is not indicative of high attrition across The Group. In relation to training, we have a dedicated in-house training team that delivers a wide range of programmes. This includes a robust, compulsory company-wide onboarding programme that must be completed before individuals begin role-specific onboarding, ensuring all employees have a strong foundation and the tools they need to succeed. We continue training throughout every employees employment at The Group which include compliance and optional training. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss your experience further. Our HR Operations Manager, Sophie Wiseman, would be happy to speak with you directly - please feel free to contact her at swiseman@lrg.co.uk. Your feedback is valued and contributes to our continued efforts to improve. Thanks - Razna, HR Department

Pros

I did not experience any.

Cons

LRG acquired Chancellors in 2025 and sadly I witnessed many employees lose their jobs in a very slapdash and cruel way - even some lost their jobs over phone/ video call!! If your business has been aquired by LRG, I would be very wary of the "big exciting plans" they feed you.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are aware of the concerns raised around the Reigate office environment. Whilst Reigate itself is a great town, we continue to manage the in-branch working conditions and, in recent months, have made improvements to the building. The structure of the building does make a full refurbishment more challenging, but this remains something we continue to review. We recognise the importance of balancing performance with the experience of our people and are continuing to review targets, training and support to ensure colleagues feel equipped and supported in their roles. Alongside this, we are developing clear career progression booklets to help colleagues better understand their pathways for growth and development within the business. Feedback such as this is taken seriously and helps shape where we prioritise improvements so thank you again for sharing your experience. Razna – HR Department
