Pros

LRG is a strong and solvent business and so whilst redundancies due to restructuring and change are not unheard of, generally speaking there is good job security, subject to personal performance of course. Staff are given good degrees of autonomy and the freedom to do their job in their own way more so than in many other estate agency businesses, with performance closely monitored but not micro-managed. The working hours are favourable by industry standards and holiday allowances quite generous, meaning that achieving a work/life balance is actually possible at LRG in a way that it isn't in many other estate agency businesses. The company are aspirational and keen to be market leaders which is a good thing, although as with everything this does come with some downsides. Company social events, team-building and training are lacking, but there are opportunities to get involved with charitable endeavours now and again.

Cons

The business has lost much of its identity and "family feel" culture as it has grown over recent years and so whilst it is still a good place to work in many ways, it is now somewhat faceless and does not really make you feel as though you are part of anything particularly special - it is just a big (and very successful) corporate style company. There is a definite feeling that nothing is ever quite enough when it comes to business levels or figures - even if you are doing well - which means that successes and celebrations are often short-lived, with senior management immediately looking at how 2 can become 3, or 3 can become 4 etc., which can be a little demoralising. Pay is quite average by industry standards, but Managers do enjoy better overall compensation due to other benefits in their packages and so things do improve if you climb the ladder.

Cons

None that I found as such. Only my own commute to Crowthorne House which proved too much for my family and children
