Pros

My co-workers that I met were some of the best people I have ever worked with. That is the only pro working here

Cons

There is no innovation being done as far as the operation. The manager who you will likely be reporting to is fine with "good enough" but never challenging how things could get better. The organizational struture doesn't support "projects" within this department and most of the responses I received were, "Well it's not unlikely for us to roll up our sleeves and get the job done". Also if you inquire about the procedures/process and NO ONE can tell you then you're asking the wrong questions( this is a direct quote) The ask is, to essentially want you to: Create the project, organize their KPI for the entire organization, execute said project, and make PowerPoint slides for the director without a team. It's a weird cross between a program/ project manager and an individual contributor. Hopefully, I can save someone the aggravation of working here there is no forward thinking here.

Pros

I was there for over 10 years.. standby travel was good in the beginning but only got more difficult to the point where I would rather spend money to get an actual ticket. Trading shifts with other employees was a pro but they always change the schedule and not everything matched up to be able to trade. I made a decent amount of money but it took me 10 years to get there.

Cons

So many. Horrible management, supervisors literally made fun of me behind my back to other supervisors (multiple times, multiple supervisors) about my appearance and personal life. You are overworked and they straight up do not care about you. Management does not take complaints seriously, and neither does HR (they’re just there to protect themselves). The employees that actually work there are like high schoolers, it’s a very disrespectful, sexist and disgusting break room. I was sexually harassed more than once. I’m not sure if it’s this horrible at other airlines but if you have the opportunity to go to delta or something, do that instead.
