Pros

Modern, forward-thinking company. Excellent staff welfare provision - healthcare, sick leave, social functions, etc. Friendly staff, managers, etc. Good salary package, job security, opportunities to progress. Very convenient location in Central London for commuters. I was lucky enough to work with a very bright bunch of people from a wide variety of backgrounds, so it was a good environment for me in terms of intellectual and professional development.

Cons

Poor communication from senior management. Little communication between departments, which seems like a wasted opportunity in a large, diverse organisation such as JLT. Little trickle-down of strategy, targets, plans, etc.

Pros

Pension is good and the team managers clearly care about the staff and contact centre. The people that work in the contact centre are all easy to get on with and motivate each other.

Cons

So many staff members are on development opportunities and secondments working for months to years in these 'developments' without being paid for the role they are now fulfilling

Part of a team that challenges benchmark numbers and redefines excellence. Last 3 years we have challenged our own best. Helps to be in a team where your leader pulls his sleeves up when you need the final push. Facility is commendable right from AC transport to office, pool table and other indoor game, Fun at work, employee welfare budget Learnt Accounting and credit controlling since I am part of Insurance Broking Accounting where Leadership is visionary both in India and counterparts in onshore. They work as one.

Cons

Compensation is competitive but would like it to be the best. Sorry, I have to be greedy...
