Pros

You get a discount on the meal kits...which is great if you like microwave meal quality food.

Cons

- This company is a burning building with so much distrust between the US and German engineering teams. - Most of my time was spent fighting internal company politics rather than building tech products. - I worked with several directors and senior leaders who weren't qualified for their roles, and it really took a toll on the engineering teams. - People just disappear, and the company has a horrible culture of magically making people disappear. Stay away from this horrible company.

Pros

Competent and dedicated engineers. Caring first line managers. People deeply care about achieving business results. They are not hesitant to help one another.

Cons

Engagement scores of US SCM engineering team were consistently one of the lowest within HelloTech. I believe its leadership is 100% responsible. It led as if this were IBM 20 years ago. It lacked modern leadership (and tech) knowledge, skills and experience to lead engineering in a new age growing company. It lacked product vision, effective communication and basic transparency. It promoted micromanagement, taking autonomy and ownership away from ICs. As a result, engineers often worked in silos, reinventing the wheels, time again. They were often left in the dark of changes in directions. They were sideline or pushed out if they disagreed with leadership.
