Pros

- people from all around the world - old employees are good

Cons

- Aggression: my leader screamed at me multiple times, interrupt me in meetings, and devaluate me in front of others. Leaders compare you with others saying "look how slow you are, that other person from mobile/backend delivered and you from web not" - Micromanaging, the leader decides how you will code the feature, decides the payload, and the libs, and you have to agree, and constantly send messages such as "what are you doing?" "Why did you take 10m to reply?" - If you give feedback to leadership, you can get fired, after giving feedback to my leader, he started saying it was not working anymore and asked his leader to fire me - You have a lot of benefits, but you need to ask to your manager to approve, and your manager will not approve unless you do what they want

Don’t Fall For the Benefits

Pros

Good health insurance. Decent salary. Lots of parties and opportunities for free alcohol

Cons

The culture is VERY white washed and the policies in place do not exist to support diversity, equity, and inclusion. Leadership is horrible and they ignore high turnover rate. Management is abusive and their idea of diversity is how many different white women are in leadership positions.

Pros

If you desperately need money, then hey it's a job

Cons

- You will pretty much be on-call 24/7, something that they don't mention during the interview process. You'll be expected to be within 15 minutes of your laptop while on-call. - You'll be doing the same old tasks all day, day in day out - There's zero work-life balance here. When the job posting says they're looking for someone with a "whatever it takes" mindset and the DNA says they value Ruthless Prioritization, they mean to say that you'll be working all the time. - This role is very easily replaceable. As a result, management have no issues running you into the ground until you quit. Then it's onto the next poor soul - If you pay attention, there's a reason why this position has job postings so frequently.
