Toxic Incompetent Leadership

Toxic work culture. Many incompetent people staff who have been there since the beginning and couldn't find job elsewhere stayed on and "lead" many teams which are disastrous due to their incompetence, ignorance and arrogance. Only saving grace perhaps is that the "senior" director of finance is leaving, hallelujah! Rejoice to us all in Australia. Good luck to the UK team who have to take over this clueless entitled but pathetically incompetent person as their finance leader, may the force be with you.

The people here are great and the benefits are awesome.

Cons

No one but HR has the ability to increase employees compensation. Managers have no say in how much merit directs get at EOY. Things are always changing back and forth and everything is done off google sheets with no major tools for support.

Great health benefits Decent pay Free food in-office Generous employee discount Values diversity with tons of ERGs

Cons

Very siloed work environment. HR does not seem to consider best interests of employees. Strict RTO policies that are rather harsh for out-of-state and out-of-town commuters. Commuter expenses not reimbursable. No opportunity for employees to share and implement ideas- making work feel less meaningful. Unclear how promotions, role pivots, and raises work.
