HelloFresh has an exciting product with excellent core values. Work-life balance is significant in HelloFresh.

Cons

The perks of a software engineering position are not good. The overall strategy does not fit everyone. I don't feel I can work long-term at the company.

Pros

Flexible hours as option for casual, good opportunity for WHV holders

Cons

Poor management who is very pushy on targets with little support offered or training to improve sales. Complaints or issues raised fall on deaf ears. Very high staff turnover losing nearly 50% of new starts within the first few days during each hiring phase. Working hours advertised are unrealistic, out on the road from 10.30am until after 7pm every evening, yet only getting paid for 33hr per week.

Workplace Politics and Nepotism: While collaboration exists in pockets, some areas are deeply political, with instances of nepotism creating a toxic environment that hampers trust and cooperation. 2. Cultural Challenges in the German Office: The culture in the German office is notably negative, with the lowest employee engagement levels many have experienced. While leadership could do more to address this, the broader workforce also exhibits a sense of entitlement, which significantly affects morale and productivity. 3. Low Organizational Productivity: Despite the innovative product and talented team, organizational productivity remains low. The Works Council, although important in principle, has introduced additional challenges that have driven away some top talent by fostering a toxic agenda and increasing the divide between employees and leadership. 4.
