Great team Great people Great benefits Great pay Not a 9-5 job whatsoever. It’s convinent cause you can help make your own schedule. It’s nice to talk to people about something that honestly is such a great product.

Pros

In my role, I have had the privilege of working with intelligent and driven people, who time and again have been willing to invest in my growth. While a lot of my time has been defined by acquiring new "hard skills", I would say that I have also significantly grown in my ability to communicate findings to a broader audience (a key part of my job). In my experience, HelloFresh has been a place where if you want to take on a challenging project, or a new area in which you would like to build experience, you are given that opportunity to grow. I will add the caveat that this seems to be more often the case for those in tech roles-- can't really speak to other areas.

Cons

As it is a younger company, and there are always new hires coming aboard, it can be hard to find an aligned message within leadership, which can be frustrating and lead to (hopefully) temporary misunderstandings. I would also say that the experience on the job-- work-life balance, relationships with managers, opportunities for true growth-- is not uniform across the organization. So, to those interviewing for a position, I would strongly advise that you make sure you get a feel for these "softer" areas: they will hugely impact your satisfaction here.

We take the role of manager seriously, and we have launched management training cohorts for our managers to develop their skills. There are nearly 50 managers across our company participating in the inaugural cohorts, and the development of the curriculum was a direct response to feedback just like yours. We also take individual development seriously, and we're launching "Individual Engagement Plans" - a conversation starter as part of a suite of tools for employees and their managers to engage with each other - helping to enhance the relationship and better define what would make HelloFresh a great place to work for you, as an individual. Flexible, decent pay, uncapped commission, benefits, growing company

Cons

High turnover rate, terrible training, website/app will steal your sales in front of your face, poor communication, expect to get your schedule at the last possible minute
