Pros

The place to be if you are a software engineer that wants both technical excellence and enjoy life outside your working hours (and, I mean, it's Berlin life, here...) The work/life balance is great, ethics are the pillar at the centre of the company's DNA paradigm, and from the technical perspective every team provides interesting and challenging scenarios to work on - you'll never be bored. Food domain is a truly interesting and complex domain, and a chance to work on it means a constant creation of learning paths, being those orders management, shipments tracking or provisioning, and this with a wide, constantly evolving choice of languages and tools at your disposal.

Cons

The company grew extremely fast in the last years, and as such the whole internal organizational structure lagged a bit behind - partly compensated by the awesome colleagues working of it. Some departments are a bit thin personnel-wise, so it might take a while to solve non-technical issues - especially now, in Covid times. At the same time, there seems to be an underwhelming attention given to people careers goals, and managers recruiting is now unfortunately happening more and more frequently than training employees to management. While this is understable, given the growth speed, and even if adding new blood can surely help foster new ideas, it's nonetheless a strong demotivational factor.

Pros

- Small teams, composed by a variety of colleagues (less or more experienced, multicultural) but everyone respects each other, which contributes to a very good working environment - High job stability - Fair salary, with yearly review

Cons

- Sometimes it feels like there is not a clear direction in the administration - Work fully remote is not yet confirmed as possible after the pandemic

Pros

Good learning experience for recent grads. Can take leftover kits home

Cons

No work life balance. If you are a planner, expect to get calls anywhere between 5AM to 2AM. You are also required to work on weekends, sometimes 7 days a week for months at a time. No upward mobility. Blame game.
