Pros

- Product Discount - Nice office with gym

Cons

- Lack of structure - Incredibly political - Lack of transparency - Low Pay - Management lies to you when it comes to you salary Terrible communication between teams, a lot of people get by with working half of their actual hours, those who put in the real work are not recognised. A lot of empty promises and complete lack of transparency and communication. There is a lot of politics that does not allow people to do their job, continuous change of ideas, strategy and high turnover. Decisions are made based on politics and what one person thinks rather than on actual data. Frustrating is the word I would use to describe my experience at HelloFresh.

Don’t work here!!

Pros

I think the only positive thing I gained from working here is some great coworkers who also no longer work there. We all share our trama from working for such a horrible company.

Cons

What can I say about working here. It was the worse experience of my life. I would leave from work everyday crying because of how bad it was. They overworked you and made you feel bad if you needed some time to off. I would leave from work to do more work from home because they did not want to hire more people. At one point I let my manager know that the amount of work I had to complete was physically impossible because I had to onboard new employees, complete payroll by 12pm and handle the office all alone and they just ignored me. Not only was upper management useless but if you weren’t sleeping with one of them you were treated like horribly. I was not going to let my morals down to get ahead. Also, I was shamed for taking any days off they did not want me to use my PTO and when I asked to take some time off because I was going to lose days they told me that I wasn’t going to lose days I just wasn’t going to accumulate anymore PTO. I was thinking that these people must think I’m dumb. Also, they are very racist there. If you are Spanish they treat you like crap and I can say that from seeing it everyday. I can continue with the cons but I will leave it there.

Pros

Pay and benefits - but it comes with a price tag aka YOUR TIME at ALL HOURS and on Weekend.

Cons

The company has nothing but unqualified individuals in leadership roles who thrive off their "power." The company culture state egoless environments but you will find nothing but strong egos from a lot of rebound hires. The company seriously is failing because of the lack of leadership with true abilities and is more of a high school popularity contest. Senior leaders and the Executive Leadership Team often have little to no experience for the verticals they are responsible for making your job as an expert in the field a nightmare. The company hasn't come to terms that they grew during the pandemic and the need to change in order to keep customers. Sales are dropping, boxes are containing expired ingredients, arriving late and they keep pushing sales promotions to new customers. How about taking into consideration current customer base and treating your production workers with a little more respect. This company has a great consumer brand but is so similar to Amazon on how they treat their employees. If you speak up about issues, you are labeled a problem and you will be terminated. Simply stay away
