Pros

There were some great agents I was able to work with. Slack allowed me to document my concerns so that I could show management the discrepancies.

Cons

I was lied to by recruiter and manager before being hired on. Agents are not paid for the first 35 sales each month in AEP. Training was minimal and ineffective. Management flip flop regularly and are not effective with communication so it's like the blind leading the blind. They tried to grow too quickly and have problems with new agents not doing things right. Leads are called repeatedly, sometimes several times a day and transferred to multiple agents. Found out early October schedule would be 12.5 hours a day m-f and every weekend day till December 8.

Sorry you didn't have a good experience. I hope you provided feedback and didn't just write this review because the job didn't work out for you. The recruiters and managers state the facts. Sales are about contests, stock and money... you definitely shouldn't have accepted a sales position if you thought otherwise.

Pros

A couple of the trainers genuinely want you to do well.

Cons

This company does NOT have it together. They use agents to do the training versus real trainers. There is no one available to answer questions or assist new agents in a WFH environment. When you ask for assistance, they do not respond or reach out. The compensation plan still has not been communicated to me and i've been on the phones a week. Everyone I reach out to is confused, disillusioned and frustrated. They roll out new processes every single day. What you couldn't do yesterday you can now do today and what you could do yesterday you can no longer do today. Good luck keeping it all straight. Unorganized to say the least. They use people in the Philippines to make outbound calls and then call it inbound. Beware. Don't tie up your licenses with this company. Oh and did I mention the 12 hour mandatory shifts?? Sheesh.

We want everyone to be successful at HiQ. Sounds like you accepted a job that maybe doesn't work for your schedule nor your learning style. Please reach out to your manager if you need additional training or have suggestions for improvement.
