      Pros

      None at all, really. If you're a consultant you can make a fair whack of money but the stress aint worth it.

      Cons

      You're expected to work 12 hour days. Very target driven company, you're encouraged not to care about the jobseekers coming through the door. Some members of management can be rude and bolshy and don't won't speak to people who they see as 'inferior' ie receptionists and admin staff. Very b*tchy place, everyone seems to have 2 faces.

      Micromanagement is on a different level, also very out of touch management in place. Great lower level staff but high turnover means its only temporary. Comms could be much better but public traded company so yeah

      The ability to have nothing to do with Hays if you work onsite with one of their clients

      Cons

      Everything about Hays. I loved it when I started, however it has progressively hit rock bottom since a new LT were appointed. Constant redundancies, below market salaries, and most recently - implementing a policy where team members are unable to take longer than 10 consecutive days of annual leave without director approval (which team members have been told won't be approved anyway). If you wish to work for a company that has trust in their people and doesn't micromanage, Hays is not for you! A mass exodus is about to occur.
