Pros

Nothing great anymore, don't waste your time.

Cons

Hays used to be great, they had a big team, great training, nice office and the right leadership. In the past few years the Global and Regional leadership teams are running the business the ground. The economy is not great, and they are one of the worst performing top tier recruitment firms. Firing people with years of knowledge and replacing with unqualified people to lead and wrong business strategy.

Pros

Culture and colleagues were awesome. Everyone is so helpful

Cons

Upper management do nothing instead of micromanaging and checking unreasonable KPIs. Managers are just grilling on small things like not logging calls which is not as important as making placements. If you are making placements you are the star or they will pick you on small things. You are forced to work even if sick because weekly KPIs and targets need to be met. They set irrational targets. Even the managers compete with you and take the best deals. Some roles are shared only with select people and others are not given fair chance. The probation is more or less like an exam and will actually stress you out to the point of sanity
