Pros

Nice working culture and emphasis on progressive ideas and policies, including work/life balance. Nice people.

Cons

Tries to be a welcoming workplace but periodically goes through major restructures and rounds of layoffs. Routinely telling employees they are valued and then laying them off is unlikely to be a long term winning strategy.

Pros

Good salary, very flexible on work location, peers are fantastic very friendly and helpful.

Cons

Toxic working environment, lots of blame, bureaucracy and senior managers struggle to make decisions and stick to them. Woefully understaffed which piles lots of pressure onto lots of people. Under the surface, many unhappy people.

Pros

Staff shop, some nice people

Cons

By far the worst company in the industry and I have worked for many of them. The politics in the Australian office is next level, but the Asia house office is a Petri dish of bacteria. It sits festering. Historically the company has been a hotpot of mergers and the culture consists of British caution (Gsk) , American loudness (pfizer consumer health) and a few Swiss products (from. Novartis). Globally there is a power play, you either sit in the ex pfizer camp or ex Gsk camp. Sales and marketing in Asia and Australia is driven by pfizer heads. Supply is ex Gsk (pharma, sterile or if you're a friend with the vp), R&D is ex pfizer. If you have any dealing with anyone regionally they feel the need to justify their jobs. They should remove all of them from the Singapore office. All the fake directors that dont have reports or do anything other than attend meetings. All they care about is making presentations and sitting around talking about cost savings. Things wouldn't be so expensive if you had enough experience to understand what the specific market requirements are!! There is also an influx of people coming from other sectors. Food, pet food, laundry care, bedding, underwear. You spend your time educating these joh illiterate people on what is allowed or required. However half of them are friends with the leadership team so they just sit around doing now. The company has no soul or purpose. Avoid at all costs.
