Pros

It is an easy retail job.I found it interesting to see all the random things people donate. The company supports its local community through employment programs and goods for needy people. They offer an Employee discount.

Cons

They do not always promote from within and are slow to offer raises. Employees must wait 24 hour before they can purchase anything donated. If an item isissing a tag a customer can get an instant price but employees are not permitted to.

Pros

I was able to teach 3 autistic people how to do landscaping, as well as learning more ways on how to work with autistic individuals myself.

Cons

Safety from the Goodwill Industries was well below what was needed for special needs people working outdoors. The pay grade is only about half of what it should be.
