Decent job, wouldn't want to make a career out of it

Pros

The work atmosphere is laid-back and team oriented. Knowing that you are both directly and indirectly helping the community is a plus.

Cons

There is a high turn-over rate for both leadership positions and the lower positions. There is also a lack of adequate job training, the "team leaders" sometimes have little to no knowledge in their designated departments, I think the "laid-back atmosphere" relates to this.

Pros

I have been mentored by older staff members and offered additional opportunities to gain knowledge and experience. Working with clients to help them take steps to independence is very rewarding.

Cons

We're a bit chronically understaffed and overworked. We never turn away clients in need, but it's hard for us to hire new people it seems.
