Pros

You will find a great place to work, learn, have autonomy, create your own work/life balance and a lot of nice benefits.

Cons

Lazy recategorization system. Poor salary updates according the market and inflation. Lots of projects with heavy rotation. Lots of offices in different countries hosting projects with one person on each site, which can lead to a timezone chaos. A constant restraint on all projects for budget reasons. A lot of talking but little doing in innovation.

Pros

- Flexible - Lots of benefits - Lots of projects to work on - It looks good on a job resume

Cons

- Low salaries - It's hard to get a raise or a job promotion - Most of your experience will depend on the project you're assigned to - Changing projects may be long and difficult - Recruiting team isn't always as clear as they should be - They consider outside the company people are overpaid - Moving foward in the company relays too much on who you talk to or how do you sell yourself instead of the results of your actual work

Tons of perks,

Pros

You can literally play video games 7 hours a day if your project allows it. Tons of perks/freedom. You will be able to put "I worked for Disney/JP Morgan/Google/Electronic Arts/Whatever fancy company you're put into" on your resume. If you're a junior, just jump into Globant, write "Disney" on your resume and quit whenever you find something better. It's not worth staying.

Cons

Because of the salary, you can barely live on your own if you have less than 4 years of experience. You'll most likely end up doing sustainment. Software development is expensive for a company so you won't get to develop a single line of code on your own unless you're living in India and are a Senior developer working for 3-4 USD/hourly. Changing you're role/project is a nightmare, they can make you wait for 6 months doing literally nothing until they find a project for you. Also, most developer jobs are for C#/Java "dinosaur projects". Don't even dream about finding a Python, Ruby or JavaScript modern role.
