Pros

Solid benefits, excellent vacation time, on site fitness center and emergency child care are a big plus. Generally good corporate culture and talented employees.

Cons

Management says that risk taking is supported, but actual experience suggests otherwise. Moreover, while there is certainly an inclusive culture with regard to gender, ethnicity, etc., there is a certain orthodoxy of thought and general aversion to risk that hampers their R&D efforts. The “r” in R&D continues to shrink and that trend seems likely to continue.

Pros

Competitive salary. Great work environment. Very "Minnesota Nice" feel about it. Family oriented. The plant culture is amazing. The people (operators and mechanics) are all very dedicated to their job which makes it extremely enjoyable working with them.

Cons

The programming should be rebranded - they are moving away from the engineering roles and are moving more towards operations and team leading roles. In addition, the leadership team makes decisions that impacts peoples lives without truly understanding the full implications.

Pros

Exposure to world class working environment. Flexible work hours. Free transport facilities. Decent free cafeteria.. Work-life balance. Good Salary.

Cons

Non challenging work. No correlation of performance and growth. Once you get in, you will gather so much rust and become so irrelevant that you will spoil your resume & will find it difficult to find another employer, since your salary will be too high for your work experience. GBS division is on exit mode so don't get in. You may get good salary but once you are jobless after closing, then it will be very difficult to find job. Most managers are good natured, & kind but extremely incompetent.
